Company Víno Mrva&Stanko was established in 1997 by two good friends. Peter Stanko was successful in advertising and Vladimír Mrva was a vine-grower with international experience.


Company Víno Mrva&Stanko is with its volume of production a middle size company. Its production grew
from previous 12 thousand to present 400 thousand bottles. This is the limit that the company in regard of keeping top quality cannot exceed.

Wine assortment consists exclusively from quality wines with special attributes, quality varietal wines and quality brand wines from approximately fifteen preferred varieties of grapes.

Originality and freshness that are from the beginning so symptomatic for the company, is expressed by the logo. There is a vine leaf as a symbol of the fact the wine is determined in vineyard.
Part of the logo is also a facsimile of signatures of both owners as they guarantee the top quality of their wines.


The company found a reliable supplier in wine region of Male Karpaty in PD Čachtice. This region is very good for variety of white wines such as Pinot Gris, Sauvignon, Tramín červený and Chardonnay. Must-weight level in the grapes is very high, wines have full taste with intensive aroma, are distinctively extractive with pleasant acids.

Historia Grapes of blue varieties such as Frankovka modrá, Cabernet Sauvignon, Svätovavrinecké are grown in PD Mojmírovce in wine region of Nitra. These wines excel with their complexity, freshness, decent aroma and character of variety. We found other reliable suppliers of grapes in winery villages Dolné Orešany, Vinodol and Rubáň wine region South Slovakia. This is the warmest wine region in Slovakia. Must-weight level of the local grapes is above average. Such grapes are used largely for production of quality wines with special attributes. Most significant representation belongs to Rizling vlašský, Rizling rýnsky, Devín and Cabernet Sauvignon.

We form the beauty of wine together with vine-growers. Collection of grapes, harvest picking and many other details that determine how the wine will sparkle in the glass is the result of tight teamwork of vine-growers and winery. For this reason we dare to say that our wine as a result of inseparable collective work of a wine-grower and a vintner opened up the most beautiful vineyards to Slovakia.

White grapes are processed with great attention. First of all they are destemmed and carefully pressed. Then there comes clarification of must followed by controlled fermentation. Wine is placed in stainless-steel containers under low temperature in order to keep aromas and bouquet substances typical for northern wine region which Slovakia is part of.

Red wines are also destemmed and put in vinificators for controlled fermentation where not only pigment is macerated but also tannins and bouquet agents. After pressing the process of so called smalllactation fermentation begins. Subsequently wines ripen in wooden barrels.
